Year one

Hello everyone! It’s been a quiet transition into Fall and Winter and we wanted to take a short moment to thank everyone. We’ve had a number of people reach out with interest in our maps and we’re so happy that we’ve been able to help people have the resources to explore the beautiful backcountry of Canada. While we’ve seen some people still braving the water before it freezes over we’ve comfortably settled into the warm space of planning for next year.

Climate change and forest fires has made it more challenging to plan for trips. Particularly the trips that are multi-week in length. There’s been quite a bit of interest in our shorter 3-5 day loop maps so we’re going to be aiming our attentions towards a variety of locations that fit that time span to hopefully make it easier for people to adapt their plans as needed. That’s not to say we won’t also have longer routes! As before our maps will include access, egress, and evacuation points. Several of our routes also include transportation information if you require water taxi or plane access.

We hope everyone is having a warm and safe end of year. If you have routes or areas you’d like to see more maps for please let us know and as always we strongly encourage you to Live Happy and have Great Stories to Tell.

Cheers

Blair and Eric
