Spring 2026

Hello folks! We hope you’ve warmed yourselves up from the winter chill and are looking forward to exploring the great outdoors! For ourselves, we’re looking to stay a bit closer to home this year and are looking to do some trips in Manitoba or Northwestern Ontario.

We had a bit of a surprising winter as we happened to find several people putting in orders in both December and January. We speculated that people were dreaming of warmer days and getting the maps for their trips made their dream a little closer to reality.

So far, our most popular routes continue to be about 3-5 days in length. Canyon Lake, ON., Manigotagan River, MB., and several Experimental Lakes, ON. loops have captured the interest of many of you.

In light of that interest, we’ll be looking into more routes in the North Western Ontario area. Right now we’re looking at a few flatwater loops as well as a longer trip that would start in Ontario and potentially finish on the Beren’s River of Manitoba.

In other news, we’re keeping an eye on the news for wildfires. The last few years have been tough on the land and people and we’re hoping for a tamer season. While forest fires are notoriously unpredictable, we’re doing our best to also have a selection of options that people can choose from if they have to make some last minutes changes to their trip plans.

As always, we hope everyone has a safe and fun season. We’ll be here continuing our work to research, catalogue, and explore routes all around Canada so that we can all have a great experience on the water.
