St. Raphael Provincial Park is a non-operational Provincial Park in Northwestern Ontario. It's remote rocky shores and rolling hills provide breathtaking scenery and a sense of remoteness. There are several lodges throughout the park on the larger lakes. There are many possible routes and loops which make this ideal for paddlers looking to spend an extended time in the region. The granite, boreal forest, and wetlands of the Canadian Shield topography of the area provide a variety of ecologies to explore. The forest is dominated by spruce, jackpine and poplar, which provide an ideal habitat for a variety of bird and species. St Raphael is composed of an interconnected series of Lakes for flatwater paddling through the southern range of the Woodland Caribou.
